Last two - 10-10-15

Here are the last two cards for my 10-10-15 event. I felt like this was dragging on forever so I decided to put these two on together. On the first card, I got this design from the SCS Weekly Inkling. One of the links they had a few weeks back was Clean and Simple cards. I LOVE THOSE! The second card is a card that came together as I went along.
Here is what we used for the first card:
Stamps: Say it with Scallops - Ronald McDonald House Stamp Set
Paper: Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate chip Classic Ink Pad
Accessories: Square Scallop Punch
Here is what we used on the second card:
Stamps: Flowers in Silhouettes and Pockets of Silhouettes
Paper: Barely Banana, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black Classic Ink Pad
Accessories: Apricot Appeal 1/4 inch Grosgrain Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch

Sip by Sip!

This is yet another 10-10-15 card we did three weeks ago at my event. I absolutely love the saying here. "Enjoy life sip by sip, not gulp by gulp". In these times I feel like we go 100 miles per hour all the time. I am a SAHM and still feel like life is rolling way too fast. I think sometimes we need to just say no and make time for our friends and family. We never know when we will be called home and when we are, we are going to be able to "really see" time we spent on things that really didn't matter. There is nothing more precious then the little things in life. Our children, a "good" cup of coffee, or a "good" glass of ice tea!! Those are three of my favs! WOW, I cannot believe all of that came out of my mouth! Any whoo!

Here is what we used:

Stamps: Sip by sip

Paper: Whisper white, Kiwi Kiss, Elegant Eggplant

Ink: Kiwi Kiss classic ink pad and Basic Black classic ink pad

Accessories: 1 inch circle punch, Kiwi Kiss/Ver Vanilla Satin Ribbon

Bella Blossoms is one of my favorite stamp sets and yes it will be leaving us on June 30th. This picture turned out dark for some reason so you really don't get to see the softness of this card. This is again another one of the 10-10-15 cards we made at my event two weeks ago.

Happy Father's Day - Grandpa

I picked up these shirts from a local department store and we gave these to my father and my father-in-law for Father's Day. They are both wonderful grandpa's! It was a great way for all the kids to be part of the gift for their pop-pop and pappy.
I used Staz-on ink for the Blue and Yellow hand print. (these are retired colors SU! used to carry) For the baby's hand print I used Real Red Classic ink. She is putting her hands in her mouth now and it is not safe to use pigment ink; however, the classic ink pads from SU! are non-toxic.

Fall Scrapbooking

I wanted to share a scrapbook page I made for my oldest daughter's scrapbook. We always go to Bobola's Farm and Florist each year for our Mums and Pumpkins. (the kids call this the pumpkin patch even when the strawberries are growing in Bobola's field) I used some retired DSP for this page. I HAVE SO MUCH RETIRED DSP PAPER, but I love DSP paper.

Here is what was used:
Stamps: None
Paper: Kiwi Kiss, Tango Tangerine, Haiku DSP
Ink: Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker
Accessories: Cricut, non-SU! stencil, Retired SU! leave punch

Thanks for looking and remember,

A birth certificate shows you were born
A death certificate shows you are dead
A scrapbook shows you lived!

Another Graduation Card

This graduation card was for my daughter. You cannot see it in the photo but I used the Big Shot Textured Plates (large dots) for the background on the Whisper White cardstock. Since SU! does not have three different square punch sizes I cut the bottom layer with my straight cutter and then used the 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 square punches for the middle and top square to create the cap. I cut along the bottom of the Apricot Appeal grosgrain ribbon and frayed the ribbon a little to create the tassel look.

Sesame Street Cards

I have been trying for a couple of weeks to add pictures to my blog and have had no luck. I decided to try again today and BAM, it happened with no problem. Strange, I know.

Ok, I had two birthday parties a week apart for my two nephews. One turning three the other turning one. I put together these Sesame Street cards for them. All products are from SU! of course. (the characters are done with SU! punches)

Scallop Circle Punch
1/2 inch Circle Punch
Crop-a-dile
